These special purpose Plexi-Point Drills are designed to cut plexiglass, polycarbonate, and other acrylic plastics. The cutting angles are reduced to keep the drill from biting into the plexiglass too fast. This point produces a clean hole and prevents the drill from breaking the plexiglass when drilling through the backside.

Step drill bits are designed to enlarge a hole as the bit drills through the sheet metal. Each step on the bit is larger in diameter than the step before. Ideal for drilling holes into thin materials such as stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum, plastic and laminates. Pilot hole required.
