Turnbuckle bodies are part of a 3-piece turnbuckle assembly, featuring a rectangular body with each end having a tapped hole with opposing threads that allows the buckle body to spin and draw in or push out the end fittings without the need to twist or spin any of the remaining components of the assembly.

A turnbuckle is a device for adjusting the tension or length of ropes, cables, tie rods, and other tensioning systems. The body of the turnbuckle is reverse thread on opposite ends to allow tightening/loosening by simply turning the body of the turn buckle. Jaw & Eye Turnbuckles feature a jaw on one end which is fitted with a nut & bolt assembly. The other end has an elongated eye to maximize ease of attachment and minimize stress on the eye.
