Male Branch Tees are very similar to traditional Straight Pipe Tees where they are used to connect pipelines with another pipe of the same size at a right angle with the line. The difference is these Male Branch Tees feature a male thread on the branch allowing a female pipe thread to be connected at 90°

Welded fittings are welded on to the piping system where as pressure fitting uses National Pipe Thread (NPT) to connect to the pipe. 90° weld elbows are used to change the direction of fluid or gas flow in pipes by 90 degrees.
