Air brake tubing utilizes polyester compound materials, offers a superior service temperature range than traditional nylon tubing which contributes to longer service life. Type A is 5/16" OD or less which are for instrumentation and pneumatic accessories connected to the air brake system. Sizes above 5/16" are Type B tubing which requires a braid inside the tubing.

Clear, lightweight non-toxic tubing, more flexible than nylon and polyethylene, and is resistant to most chemicals and solvents and impervious to bacterial action. Complies with government regulations for hospitals and food processing (F.D.A. Standards).
